All things considered…
If you haven’t read this book you are missing out on a masterpiece.
This book gets ALL of the stars. It’s a speculative fiction that is just beyond dope. From the format of the book (for part 2 of the book you literally have to flip the book over - so effing cool), to morally gray characters, to the dialogue between the characters, and the magical way Kiese ties everything together… *insert chef’s kiss*
City, Shalaya, Baize, LaVander and their stories will live in my head rent free for a very long time. I won’t be surprised if I read this book again this year…so nice gotta read it twice. 😉.
