Holy crap!!! Holy crap!!! This book was amazing and horrifying all at the same time! I know it sounds crazy, but my goodness! Ok, so the first 200 pages drags really bad. It's pretty much a repeat of what happened in the last two books. But from then on, it's pure insanity. I'm going to butcher all these names, but whatever. Phedre and Joscelin go to a literal HELL to find and rescue her betrayer son. What they find is HORRIFYING! Mahrkagir is horrible. Just disgusting and what he does horrible. I was so happy when that part of the book was over. Not for the faint of heart. Then what I've been waiting for for 2 and a half books happens!!! Hyacinthe is free!! And I can't be happier. I did think it was too quick. Spent more time on recounting what happened in the beginning, then his freedom. But, still happy that Hyacinthe is free! This was a great conclusion to the Trilogy!
