First off! What kind of ending. That just sent me spiraling! This was an absolutely amazing story of a woman and her quest for .... Love.... Life... Independence... Knowledge.... Respect.... Wait, let me add to that! A black woman's quest 💚

Poetically written. I love a story that can describe devastation with heart and light. This is a winner, a classic, a must read for all generations!
