Granger knows instantly when he sees Alice broken down on the side of the road that’s she’s his person. Alice is just trying to make it through to another town and job and stay away from getting close to anyone - until Granger. Watching the navigate things together was a bit emotional, she doesn’t think she’s worth much, and he proves to her time and again she is. Their story pulled at all of my heart strings, but they complemented one another so well.
