oops looks like I'm DNFing for now............I just have too many other books that I actually want to read rn, so I'm putting this on hold.

I've loved all of Bacigalupi's other books (I especially recommend Ship Breaker and The Drowned Cities) but this one has been super slow so far and so hard to get into.
