This had all the makings of an outrageous kdrama, but it just fell flat. I saw some other reviews saying she was naive not to see what was happening, but to be honest, an 18 year old who is so hopeful for connection to her family is GOING to be naive BECAUSE she’s blinded by that sheer desire to have family. I knew something was hinky very early on, but didn’t know what. The end definitely left it open to a potential sequel, but eh. I just didn’t love how it all played out by the end.
