I am fully sat, buckled, and emotionally unprepared for wherever Carl and Princess Donut take me next.
Book #2 gave me exactly what I wanted… same chaotic humor, same unhinged dungeon madness, but with even more depth, stakes, and world-building. It somehow manages to be hilarious and clever while expanding this bizarre, brutal universe in a way that makes it nearly impossible to put down.
The political layers, the evolving mechanics, the character development… yes, even Carl is growing (kinda), just all hit. I haven’t had this much fun with a book series in a long time, and I’m holding on tight because I know things are only going to get wilder from here.
If you liked the first book, buckle up. If you haven’t started this series yet, what are you even doing?
