Philosophy for Life: And Other Dangerous Situations
by Jules Evans
A nice introduction to some of the major philosophy schools from the Greeks, presenting the negatives and positives of using each school as a life's creed. Underlying each chapter is his comparison (and support) of how the school relates to stoicism (perhaps the author's person favorite) and how it contributed to the development of CBT, which I found a bit distracting. Overall interesting enough to want to learn more about some of these schools.
