This book picks up right where book 1 ends. Glad we didn't have to wait long to get answers about Lucy. And grabbed me just like book 1. And both of them taking Lucy in was amazing. I definitely see them being my favorite Sadie Kincaid couple.
Look I'm not one for drama but Bobby (Alana's ex) showing up, was a great plot device. Seeing Alejandro possessive side come out, ugh chef's kiss. But also showed the double standard in the relationship considering like Alana said, Alejandro talks to his exs all the time. But ew to Alex thinking Bobby was the better man. If that was the case she would have stayed with him.
Their banter and dialogue was what kept this book interesting. The scene with the $2 million car scene had a giggling. And it was sweet at the same time, "my money is your money"
