What would you choose to do if you never learned to live for yourself, if you simply didn’t know how to follow up on you happiness…

I caught myself rooting for a husband that was absent, had no intention in being there for his family or helping with the struggles, self centered in his universe and his beliefs, just because he was the lesser pain. My brain strives so much to find a happy resolution that I caught myself being happy when Masum was left to be herself, was ignored, when there was just an absence of abuse and violence.

I hurt for her and it pained me to read all the struggles and pain she had to endure,
But I learned one thing from here that will remain an I important reminder for myself:
We are individuals and no matter how much you love your family/friends you should not forget yourself,
I have the privilege to focus on my growth, my happiness, my life, and of course it will involve other people to love, to care about, but I should be the most important person to myself.
