Meant for Gabriel by Natasha Madison
4.0
This is the fourth book in the Meant for Series, and I am loving it so far! Out of all the thousands of family members, these two are two of my favorites (except for Uncle Max and Matthew). There were so many heartfelt and romantic moments that made this book hard to put down.
Zara is already having second thoughts about her impending marriage, so when she goes dress shopping, the last thing she expects to find at home is her fiancé in bed with someone else. Needing to get away, she heads to the South for a little escape to get her life back on track.
Gabriel is happy with his life—he has his bar, and most importantly, he has his son Colson. But everything changes when he sees Zara for the first time. Their connection is so strong that what was supposed to be a one-night drink ends up thankfully changing their lives—and mine—forever!
I knew from the moment Gabriel said he woke up in the bar naked, looking for Zara, that I was locked in! I love a good whirlwind romance, and this one is at the top of my list. During their two-week fling, they made me fall in love with them. Gabriel was so kind and patient with Zara, and Zara really needed to fall back in love with herself—and she did just that. Some of my favorite parts were when they showed up for each other after Zara returned home. And how Gabriel found out about the baby was unexpected!
Now, I do feel like this whole story was one big miscommunication. I was literally rubbing my temples and yelling at them to contact each other! When Colson noticed how sad Gabriel was and told him to bring Zara home, I nearly cried!
Overall, I devoured this book. I love the grown-up Zoe and Zara so much; those women are truly terrifying and take no nonsense. Lastly, I love this author’s writing style so much and can’t wait to see what comes next. But in the meantime, I’m going back and reading the Hollywood Royalty series!
