Romeo Romeo where for art thou Rome! This book, I devoured as quick as adulting would allow, and those last few chapters left me holding my breath, crying, and feeling all the feels. Now, it's no secret I do love dark, unhinged, mafia romance, and this meets the brief. But, do ensure, if this is not your vibe, please read the trigger warnings that Addison provides.

Aurora is our FMC, who has a very simple life, having left the mafia world behind. There is still the grief of losing her mum some years prior, so she flys "under the radar" not wanting to draw any attention to herself.

Enter Romeo Bianchi, our MMC and head of the mafia. He has come to the US to help his cousin, take care of business, and this business, looks on the surface, to be the daughter of an enemy who is trying to take over his cousin Massimo's business, by force. That daughter is Aurora, but she is more than he bargained for, and vice versa. There is ALOT of moving pieces within this book, and this leaves you on the edge of your seat. There is pasts uncovered, betrayal amongst those close to Romeo, and Aurora who is caught between the life she had, what she had been led to believe, and what choices she will make now.

I honestly loved everything about these two, Aurora is a strong FMC, and this is seen throughout the book, and is Romeo's match in every way. I cannot wait to read the next book in this series, and if you love this genre, I highly recommend.
