Loved this! Such a cozy read. It had really warm, family vibes.
None of the characters are perfect in this. Vivian and Daniel, the parents, both make mistakes as they try to get to grips with their 5-year old daughter becoming a werewolf after a brutal attack and having to move to enrol her in a school for others like her.
They become embroiled in local scandals and Vivian fights to fit in as a mundane in a world of magic. She makes friends with the local Mean Girls squad, to her detriment before finding her true friends.
This is a lovely tale of finding yourself, finding family, and coming to grips with tragedy.
