Another solid instalment in The Survivors series, “New World” picks up the story from the previous book. The action, intrigue and suspense continues in this the third episode, they are indeed a page turner. Good, well rounded characters, and surprisingly interesting plotline.
Unfortunately it still includes the science of convenience, and “well that was handy” and “weren’t we lucky that we reversed engineered that in just two seconds”, no, only kidding, just a year. Oh! look I’ve just stumbled upon an intergalactic teleportation device, “wasn’t that handy”. However, that aside, It's still a very engaging and enjoyable read. I will carry on with the saga, regardless of how convenient the books are.
