Although this looks like a Christmas book (which I guess it is in a loose way) that was only a small part of the story.
This was both heartwarming and heart wrenching at the same time, I loved witnessing the development of joe and Georgine.
Some parts of the story were a little predictable but that was perfect for me, it made it an enjoyable easy read!
Will definitely be picking up more from this author in the future :)
