Everything Will Be Alright by Willow Hadley

3.0

Didn’t live up to the first book, things were a bit too cliche and repetitive for my liking.

I don’t mind the fact that it’s YA, but in this installment the characters behave like teens and I know it’s kind of the point of the series, seeing their growth as individuals and finding their bearings regarding the polyamory dynamics of their relationship with Charlotte and understanding that it’s fine to love more than one people BUT the drama happening outside of their group of friends was a bit unnecessary and the lack of communication between the group was unbearable.

Still a really good series, and I absolutely LOVE what the author is trying to do with this series but I was expecting a bit more.

Things were slow in the first book and it made sense because everything was new for charlotte, she needed the time to get acquainted with herself, the guys and her surroundings, but I expected this book to be less slower and slightly more fast paced because of Charlotte’s evolution. I thought I’ll love this more that what I did, but the pacing and the day-to-day narration of charlotte’s life was sometimes boring and kept me out of the story.

3 solid stars ⭐️ I’ll keep up with this series!
