The Runaway King

DID NOT FINISH: 30%
I can't stomach this boy. He has great friends and people who love him and give him wise advice and all he ever does is ignore them, make the worst possible decision he can, then bleat about how hard life is for him and how everyone is against him. It's so frustrating. He simply hasn't learned his lesson from the first book. I'm not even that far in and he has already been a complete jerk to everyone for no reason, drugged and abandoned the one person who had a solid plan they could have followed that would actually help him, and decided to rob a very kind person who he himself said was like a father to him just so that he can prove to a bunch of thieves that he's on their side. The snark isn't endearing, it's not funny. This kid is just a scummy human and I understand why they don't want him as king.
