I knew from reading [b:Love Him Free|53206552|Love Him Free (On the Market, #1)|E.M. I also knew that with Parkers shenanigans, there would be enough of a balance so that I was only a sobbing mess 1/2 of the time instead of the whole book.

Blurry, watery eyes make reading words difficult!

It was great getting to see Fitz, Ronan and Parker interact as teens. Also, it allowed us to see how Ronan and Parker started got started. Secret meetings in dark rooms. Stolen moments with brisk kisses. It was supposed to be everything. It was supposed to be forever. All until the fire that almost lost them their best friend. Ronan pulls away devastated and pulled into self hatred, while Parker vows to never leave his best friends bedside. Parker leaves to become the doctor that he's always wanted to be. He know's Ronan is proud of him, but it's not enough for Ronan to go after him.

Parker is in the last year of his residency and has just accepted a job in Connecticut. Staying away from Cherry Creek and Ronan.
SpoilerJust as Parker closes the chapter with his casual male friend, he hears the voice the he has waited years to hear; Ronan. They promise each other one night of how is used to be with Ronan leaving Parker in the morning. When Ronan wakes up the next morning with everything he's ever dreamed of in his arms, he realizes that he cannot let Parker go. Parker agrees to stay together, but only if their married! Of course Ronan accepts, but when he goes to show Parker he isn't joking, he realizes that something is truly wrong. He cannot move his legs.

Through it all: the years of pain from being apart, the many men that are never promised anything but sharing Parkers' bed for a night, and the growth of Fitz pushing himself back into Ronan's life; both Ronan and Parker knew that they would never love anyone else but each other. What they found in each other at 14 no one else could compare to, but they didn't expect Jonas.

Jonas, Jonas, Jonas! I truly thought Ronan was going to be the one to hold my heart throughout this book, but then Jonas showed up on my pages. Being a mom, I wanted to hold him and provide him with the love he never received from two broken, selfish parents.

SpoilerJonas has to face that while not physical, his childhood was filled with mental and emotional abuse. He believes that he shouldn't want to be with both men and he knows that above everything they are truly, deeply in love and married, but that doesn't stop him from thinking about them both while laying in bed at night.
As luck would have it, while Jonas is thinking about them, they are thinking about him. With Jonas only being in time for long enough to check out the land, Parker and Ronan believe that if they do this, it will only be for a short amount of time. Just as all three men decide to start a relationship, the surprising stroke of Jonas' father, sends Jonas home to Arizona to run a company he doesn't even want. Parker and Ronan are sure now more than ever that they want Jonas return and Jonas promises he will. The future hangs in the balance until SURPRISE! Jonas turns up at the market just in time for the men to pick up his custom ring from the local blacksmith.

Will Jonas finally get the love he deserves? Will Ronan be able to let the man he thinks will destroy Cherry Creek in? Will Parker be allowed back in the fire station?
