To Honor You Call Us by H. Paul Honsinger

A modern spin on a classic space navy tale. It's not that we are given something wholly original in the story line but the telling was a very comfortable one akin to sitting down and watching a favorite old Star Trek episode. The author does a great job of fleshing out the characters into 3 dimensional people. The book is aptly titled as honor is definitely a central theme of the book and I suspect, the entire series. Looking forward to the next installment
