I don’t deal well with misogynistic male love interests, especially when the society they live in is equally misogynistic. So the first two thirds of this book was a nightmare. If I hadn’t been really sold on the concept of this series I absolutely would have DNF’d this one. 

All that said, the HEA in this book was nearly worth the pain it took to get there. I appreciated how specific this HEA was to the love interests!
