A Breath of Snow and Ashes by Diana Gabaldon
4.0

Although there was a lot happening in this instalment, it was much better than #5. I did feel that she got a bit stuck into how Claire adapted 20th century medicine to 18th century facilities. However, it was quite fascinating most of the time. I loved how the mystery of the fire played out and enjoyed all the various intrigues and plot twists. I was equal parts glad I listened to the audio version and annoyed I couldn't go back to refer to bits I had read/heard. Then again, a lot of it didn't play into the main plot so I ended up leaving them misunderstood.
