Great Big Beautiful Life
by Emily Henry
I felt like 3 ⭐️ would be too much.
The attraction was mostly physical and they seemed to be into each other because they were bored and the only people on that island around the same age.
The story of the actress was way too long into the past (what was up with these great grandfathers?) and sooo dragged out and slowly paced.
Both storylines had very different vibes and very different paces.
That was distracting.
There were a lot of Evelyn Hugo parallels made and this story sadly lacks the drive and the mystery and ✨exclusiveness✨. Evelyn Hugo was still interesting and known in the present time of the book, this actress wasn’t really the topic anymore.
This book brought me nothing really. Just got me from a short reading slump.
