The only complaint I would have about this book is, The writing was very clumsy and it was a little slow started.
Overall it gave a very gothic magic fantasy vibe, Magical Deck of card and a mysterious history.
A slight of spicy with the two character love interest.
It was interesting but I do wish there was more background to the characters.
Now it does end in a cliffhanger, so I will be reading the 2nd book to find out what happens.
