this was cute fluff puff, and overall the story was pretty engaging but PSA: don't read this if you are ACTUALLY burned out (unless you happen to have a healthy bank balance, can quit your job, can afford to go on an extended holiday to the seaside)!! if you're hoping to glean some useful wisdoms this is NOT the one. i actually feel like it's kinda cynical to market this with the title 'the burnout' knowing so many people will relate and pick it up for that reason. seriously WHY does cosy literature aimed at women have to consistently revolve around posh people?! i am over it, and suspect i'm not the only one.
