The Third Reconstruction: America's Struggle for Racial Justice in the Twenty-First Century by Peniel E. Joseph

informative medium-paced

3.5

Saw this at the library and it sounded interesting. After finishing it I'm not sure I was the intended audience, as I was already familiar with 99% of the stuff written here. It also felt a bit clunky and all over the place, and definitely could have used some tightening up here and there. Regardless, I'd probably recommend it to someone who isn't familiar with the general subjects that it goes over.
