I finally got around to finishing this book and I loved it. The exceptional writing and the emotionally complex characters had me hooked from the start. Kai had the qualities of my favorite type of heroine: independent, ambitious, and tenacious. She's an aspiring singer and dancer looking for her big break in LA after a tragic loss in her small hometown. When she meets Rhyson Gray, a genius pianist turned rockstar, a collision of hearts and music ensues.
