Summer of '69 by Elin Hilderbrand

2.5

I found this book to be predictable but not in a relaxing way. Lots of twists and turns to get you exactly where you thought it would go. The treatment of the Chappy car crash felt glazed over and could have just been left out, and I did not appreciate the use of comparisons to Anne Frank throughout. Overall it was fine, and everything ties up with a with a neat bow.
