I initially found this book helped me out of a writing slump. (I've fallen back in, but that's mostly on me just not making time for writing.) Though the premise felt a little duh after I read it, I didn't actually think if this myself.
Probably the most helpful thing to me, was being given the permission to make up spreads as I need them and to draw as many cards as I need to until the meaning is clear.
