Nona the Ninth by Tamsyn Muir

this book started off as my least favourite by a long shot compared to GtN and HtN but the more I think about it the more I find I like it, it’s almost completely seperate from the first two books and forces the reader to follow a character who knows nothing and we finally get to see life outside of the main players of necromancers, cavaliers or lyctors.
a lot of people may not like it because of its sharp deviation and that’s fair, but it wasn’t entirely unexpected
