I loved this one! Good story, great writing, character growth, suspenseful and moral ambiguity. It made me cry & if a book does that to me, it’s likely to have won me over. The setting is in Richmond, Va mostly…where I stayed for a little bit (from 757 myself) so also cool to recognize areas of the setting.
This is my first book I’ve read of Cosby’s. I got it from the library while waiting for the ARC of King of Ashes I won to arrive. Now I’m even more excited to dive into that & everything else he’s written!
