The FMC is called Ayla and she grew up in foster care. When she was 18, coming out of a night club, she saw a guy who was hudled with his friends talking in an alley. she started to walk when a car came out of no where and started firing at the man. It was a reflex for her to jump in front of the bullets and save the mans life. Due to the injury, she had lost flood flow to her arm and it needed to be amputated. Now two years later, she is coping with only having one arm and is working so she can afford to go to college. One day she is walking down an alley and is about to be mugged when the man and his two friends come out tf the shadow and save her. They dont speak to her, but from that point on she sees them keeping an eye on her from the distance. That distance becomes smaller and smaller as the time goes on. I would say this is a medium to fast burn and the FMC is dumb. she annoys me a bit because she has absolutly no skill at anything but constantly decides to be stupid in situations. and after like 3 weeks of knowing the guys, she already says she loves them. it turns out that they are part of the elite in the society and the all powerful ruler behind the scene put on a game where the other powerful families enter their kids into. The survivor will be the heir to the city. it is to the death. Overall this book was fine. Ayla annoyed me and whenever there was a life threatning situation, all she wanted to do is fuck her men. She got better towards the end of the series but the overall storyline got boring at that point.
