I found the first 200 pages to be a drag. To the point I pretty much put the book aside and didn't read any for 3 weeks. Then I got motivated to just finish it to move on to something else. It got better; it's a good story. Meyer's writes it a bit better than the Twilight series, and I definitely admired the imagination she had to write this book. I suppose, in some ways, it could have been moving though. That's probably why it was a tough read for a while... you don't feel as much while reading it as you should feel reading any fictional story.
