Beau and Carissa had a lot to do with the 4 stars, plus not gonna lie, the plot was rather intriguing itself and it personally didn't overpower the romance for me. However, the pace was a little too fast, and I did wish to see more of the two. One thing I can't stand, though, and this is so small I doubt anyone else would care, what the hell happened to her head after the grazing? And how about his wound? It's as if it magically disappeared and healed. He kept pulling her hair in the lovemaking, all the while I kept wincing at her stitches. Though it was all a little fantastical, it was definitely a Beau and Carissa story. I did miss the angst that was Drake. But Beau was still loveable.
