This was... uhm... bad... I don't know why this had to be set in the 80s. It feels like it only had been chosen as a setting so Hendrix could be mentioning things like homophobia, slavery and racism (and many other problematic things) without having to address them properly. So many things have been mentioned or build up, just to be dropped the next moment. It all seemed very random.
