It was honestly all worth it after I turned the last page with THE kiss and “You Are In Love” by Taylor Swift suddenly came on in my playlist. It was fucking magical!

Anyway, Anne sure didn’t give all that much of a fuck about Ruby, did she? First, we immediately go back to Redmond after Ruby dies and Anne barely even acknowledges it as part of her summer—which, if I remember correctly, she described as a pretty good one. And second, much later in the book, she starts looking through her old Story Club stuff—which Ruby was a member of—and she does not even mention her! #JusticeforRubyGillis
