I was going through my kindle looking for something YA and easy and picked up this one and wow this book did not fit either of those categories. I mean that’s on me for not reading the synopsis. But damn. It’s just so incredibly sad???? I don’t think I felt a single moment of joy reading the book and I found it hard to rate this book objectively but I just couldn’t bring myself to like it. Maybe some people that are struggling would find this book cathartic and validating but idk it’s just hard to read about struggles and bad decisions when there’s real people in your life actually going through stuff. ANYWAYS major tw for depiction of self harm cause wow it really jumped right in!
