I liked it but I just am not a crime fiction girlie. It was very fun and imaginative and I loved the supernatural themes. Honestly if the book were about just
a guy seeing ghosts and  joining a magic education system
without the police work I would’ve enjoyed it even more. Especially with how light-hearted the magical themes were, I feel it would’ve been a very chill and happy read.
