Wed To The Alien Brute by January Bell

5.0

Bex (h) is at her wits end with Dergoz (H), her Suevan husband, who seems to want nothing to do with her. She decides to stow away on his ship, unaware that he's actually being sent on a dangerous mission. Dergoz resists Bex, even though he's attracted to her, because he wants her to see him as more than a monster, he wants her to care for him. Their actions and relationship are initially hindered because there are problems with her translator and even when it's working there are still differences for the two to overcome. They face many challenges that they have to face together to in regard to their mission, other aliens, and even other humans even as their sexual attraction grows. Dergoz learns how competent Bex is in her abilities and that she's quite capable of pulling her own alongside him. Great to see the returning characters, as well as new ones. This was an amazing third book in the series, and I am so looking forward to more of the Suevans and their mates, as well perhaps stories for Nydo/Roth and Reif/Arco. The books need to be read in series order to understand the overarching story.
