This series gets better and better. This time the action is closer to home, with Gideon and Lee having to contend with crippling personal grief as well as brutal, gut wrenching murder.
What can possibly go wrong for them next?
Through it all, though, their bond is as strong, and stronger than ever. It really comes into its own in this story. Lee shows Gideon his world and the level-headed copper still manages to keep both feet planted firmly on the ground.
