Most important note:
If you choose to read this, do it in print, or on a *large* (think iPad) color tablet. The non-standard script (which is about 15% of the book) is all but illegible on a standard kindle.

Fantastic concept, but with such glaring plot holes that I kept getting pulled out. This was recommended as "along the lines of Three Body Problem," which it wasn't.

There were tons of hipster references, and apparently the author is a SERIOUS fan of K-pop. Felt like there were a lot of "let's throw this in, the millennials will love it."

Also holy shit, 900 pages. It was seriously about 300 pages too long.

Still, the concept was so good it would be worth picking up if you are basically wanting to read Necromancer written in 2021. It will be horribly dated in 15 years.
