Suicide Notes by Michael Thomas Ford

2.0

so predictable at times and honestly the writing style was just not my thing... very dark and mature topics written in an appeal to an adolescent’s reading skill.. if that makes sense??? and the way the sentence structure was just constantly repeated in an attempt to be fun and witty seriously failed n just annoyed me

a lot of things caught me off guard too and honestly i had no idea this book was gonna go into such detailed descriptions of triggering stuff. but i could also see how the purpose was to evoke a reaction.. n if that was it, it definitely worked. it was just weird to read it from such a young and child like way of writing style. i know the narrator is 14 (if i remember right) but c’mon now!!!

definitely loved the meaning and lesson tho!!! but the book itself was just not for me
