Many a Twist: A Cork County Mystery by Sheila Connolly

2.0

I’m not sure why I keep reading these books. I think it’s because they are actually well written even though they barely have a plot. I wouldn’t exactly call them mysteries either. More like “confusings.”Something a little out of the ordinary happens and suddenly it’s a huge plot point. And then it turns out to be nothing. I certainly dont read it for the cranky and unlikable Maura. Someone hands her a house and a pub and she can’t figure out how to run or fix up any of it. She’s so judgmental, clueless, and lazy. When does she start growing as a person?
