I really liked the idea behind The Forest Grimm. I love dark fairy tales and haunted forests. There are a few issues i have with the book, though. The author tried to insert too many fairy tale characters into one book. I feel like the book would need double the number of pages just to fully develop those additional characters. I felt the MCs all needed to be more fully developed with more backstory. I liked the book enough to finish, but I don't believe I'll pick up the sequel.
