Five Survive
by Holly Jackson
4.75/5
I loved how thought out Red was as a character, she reminded me a lot of myself.
The story flowed so well that I just couldn't put it down and the last three pages made me quite emotional.
I do think that there was one character who just felt like an after thought and didn't contribute much to the story. I think if they weren't there the story wouldn't have changed at all. The reveal wasn't the biggest surprise of all, it seemed reasonably easy to get the idea of what would happen. Also the last chapter felt a little rushed like you didn't get time to really take in some of the things that happened.
But despite my few flaws for the book, it didn't effect it that bad overall for me. I really enjoyed it and I love Holly Jacksons writing and how well thought out her characters are. I look forward to picking up A Good Girl's Guide To Murder!
