All About Love: New Visions
by bell hooks

This was such an introspective book, it made me question and reflect on myself and how I view love, and it made me question society. How the patriarchy is so detrimental to our act of loving, how pessimistic younger generations are towards love, and how toxic love can be when it is not truly love.
Some people feel it is too religious, however; I feel she mentions Christianity in passing, using it as an example. Other than the last chapter, Hooks does not rely on the Bible heavily, even then it is used as a reflection of her own life, and an example of love.
