Saints of the Shadow Bible by Ian Rankin

3.0

Rankin’s greatest skill remains his use of Edinburgh as the perfect backdrop.
The plot here didn’t quite build to anything remarkable, but it does a very good job of laying foundations for Clarke and Fox to take over when Rebus finally gets fitted for his wooden box.
I’ve been reading these since I was, what, 14, though? And starting a new one always reminds me of the special journey that I’ve been on with books in my life. It started with Rankin. ❤️
