Not as great as her Witches of Knitting Hollow series. This is a spin-off series and our couple gets a chapter in the other series to spin-off here.
I was looking forward to warm fuzzy Christmas family fun, but it didn’t quite capture that. It was more contemporary romance with a few mentions of witchcraft. We don’t really see them using their powers like we do in the other series. Also there’s not that family and friend feeling as I got in the other series. This just feels like characters in a book I didn’t get the warm and fuzzies and it dealt with some more heavier aspects of life than I was wanting to read. Just ok.
