Reading this was a bit like reading those “cancer kid books” from the 90’s. You spend the entire book waiting for bombs to drop, and twists to happen.
Overall, I would say this book was predictable in the way that all such books are. But it was also educational, and surprisingly full of lightness when a reader could easily expect wall-to-walk melancholy.
