I love a good retelling and this definitely didn’t disappoint! It gives you everything you could possibly want in an Aladdin retelling. 

Austyn was a strong and independent woman who just wanted what was right and fair to happen. I loved her smart mouth. 

When I tell you that I absolutely LOVE the relationship that Drake and Cassius have I mean I really love it. The unlikely friendship that they find from the beginning even when they don’t see it forming. 

Kyra being a little looney is hilarious. Her inner monologue constantly had me laughing😂 

Austyns banter and attitude with Drake is the best. I love seeing them go back and forth.

 😭 not Pip 😭😭 my heart hurt for him. 

And when I tell you I gasped at some of the things that went down right at the end😱

I did not see those twist coming AT ALL!! 

I need answers!!
