Ok if I knew these characters were Fleet Foxes stans I would've picked up this book sooner!
Love the classic Rachel Lynn Solomon representation for girls who want to do the thing but can't (it's writing. it's always writing). This book is so sweet: adorable romance, love letter to Seattle, effective and suspenseful plot framing, struggles of loving something deemed frivolous, bittersweet snapshot of the heightened feelings of high school graduation. It IS actually so special and emotional to leave behind your community :').
